Next YEAR! It's been raining all day and about 35 degrees outside. When the weather is like this it is so hard to get motivated to do anything other than sit in front of the fire and sleep. Around supper time the rain turned into heavy snow! Are you kidding me? My poor flowers are going to die. Of course this would happen to me. This is my
1st year where I've done the picking and planting all by myself. I was rather proud that I started early (last year I waited til July to plant flowers!) and planted them in a neat design and then have been tending them daily. If they die I will truly be broken-hearted, not to mention I'll never hear the end of it about me not having a green thumb, even though I try really hard.

Cold and Sappy
For the last 3 weeks at Madison's school there have been hip-hop dancers teaching each class a dance. Today was the concert to show off all their moves. It's really sad when you get teary-eyed watching your 5 year hip-hop dance to Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation"--I think I need serious help! I've tried to load the video but I barely know how to load photos, so this could take a while.
On the other hand this is what we looked like tonight before we left on our walk.
Yes it is cold and miserable...maybe I don't need that air conditioner after all.

Back to the Future
I never posted any pictures about my trip to New York (March '09) that's how bad of a slacker I've been. So here are some favorites:
At the M&M Factory....Gpa Henrie would love that place!
Uncle Jon, Aunt Joanna, Madison and mom at Madison Square Garden to see a hockey game
Ice Time at Rangers Game
The little Church across the street from the fallen Twin Towers
Last but not least because I'm a proud American Girl!

Goal....
I know it's not January 1, but I am setting a goal to keep up with my blog (hopefully daily). There have been so many cute things said, happy times, sad times, funny times and I've not recorded any of it. So here is a cheers to me!
In April Madison and I travelled down to Utah for Spring Break to help Aunt Jo with her new little one Saylor. I must admit that it wasn't the trip I was expecting, but I am so glad that I went and was able to help out my sister.
Saylor's blessing
Grandma Trish had a fun Easter egg hunt for all the kids big and small. She did a great job and the kids had a blast. (even though I didn't win :(
Madison took ice skating lessons this May. It started out slow and I didn't think she would spend anytime standing, let alone skating on the ice. She isn't a Jamie Sele (yet) but after 6 weeks she isn't bad.
The most exciting thing this month.....drum roll....WE HAVE A YARD. And not just any yard, a nice yard that neither Peter or I screwed up right from step 1. I can't wait til my lilacs bloom...
Yes I have the strangest daughter....
But who couldn't love a face like this...
